We are proud to introduce our new line of drum mowers from Galfre. Galfre hay equipment has been in the U.S. for over 40 years, with many of the drum mowers sold in the 70’s still in use today. They are durable, well designed, all-shaft drive, and require no hydraulics. We think they are the best drum mowers on the market. Give one a try, and you’ll think so too.
The Galfre FR/G drum mower weighs only 600 pounds, making it the only drum mower on the market lightweight enough to use with a subcompact tractor. As this video shows, going from transport position to working position is simple and does not require brute strength like some other machines. Rate of cutting is much faster than a sickle bar, and a drum mower will never clog up, no matter how dense or tall the crop is.

Optional Hydraulic Fold available on certain models
Patent-pending Black Hole Conditioning System - Provides a flailing action as the cut crop moves between the drums. This action breaks the stems and fluffs the crop before it is laid down, reducing drying time and often eliminating the need to ted or double-rake.
Central Pivot Point – The two drums are supported centrally, which better distributes weight and allows the drums to better follow ground contours.
