Molon Belt Rakes
Molon belt rakes are the best choice for the small farmer who wants an easy-to-use hay rake that is compact and doesn't need much horsepower to operate. The tines never touch the ground, so you won't end up with dirt in your bales. And this style rake is the only hay rake that also rakes in reverse, which is very handy in small fields with lots of corners.

The hay is delivered at one side by the combs, whose movement is at a right angle to forward travel. The hay remains soft and untangled for faster drying. The combs are attached to the twin V-Belts with permanently lubricated bearings making for quiet and smooth operation even under heavy usage. The belt rakes can be attached by 3 point hitch to either the rear or front of the tractor.
Having the rake in front of the tractor can reduce damage to the hay from running over it with the tractor before raking. With a raking width of 4 feet, this is the perfect rake for pine straw producers. Light weight, super compact, and low maintenance. Built tough for commercial use. Height of rake tines is adjustable so you can avoid raking dirt and composted needles into your windrow. This is a far superior alternative to a 2 wheel rake. Molon 180.3D Belt Rake
Producing the same light, fluffy windrow as a rotary rake, belt rakes are much more compact and easier to use. Another unique function is that this rake works equally well in forward or reverse, making it very handy in tight spaces. This particular model is a great fit for subcompact and compact tractors, and creates an ideal windrow size for mini balers. Belt rakes also provide a second function as a tedder, eliminating the need for an additional piece of equipment.
